Empire State Realty Trust
Empire State Realty Trust wanted continuous disinfection technology, better indoor air quality, and lower overall energy costs to help achieve ENERGY STAR® certification.
ACTION PLAN
Empire State Realty Trust wanted better improved air quality and lower overall energy costs. To prove it, ESRT conducted third party testing for ENERGY STAR® certification. With AtmosAir technology installed at 250 West 57th Street in Manhattan, ESRT achieved the results they desired.
RESULTS
AtmosAir has been working with ESRT for over 5 years to help create a healthier, more sustainable environment throughout their office buildings. AtmosAir also helped ESRT achieve ENERGY STAR® certification.
AtmosAir is installed in 7 ESRT Buildings: Empire State Building, One Grand Central Place, 250 West 57th Street, 1400 Broadway, 1350 Broadway, 501 7th Avenue, and 111 West 33rd Street.

U.S. Department of Defense
AtmosAir was vetted in an Indoor Air Quality and DOE Federal Energy Management Pilot Program which has led to adoption in over 65 United States government buildings.
ACTION PLAN
In the first building pilot, AtmosAir installed devices in AHUs at Fort Belvoir, one of the premier RDT&E Labs in the Department of Defense. Air sampling was completed by the Fort Belvoir team. AHUs were metered and energy readings were taken. ASHRAE 62. Indoor Air Quality Procedure was applied for energy savings.
RESULTS
AtmosAir is now installed in over 65 United States Department of Defense buildings including over 20 buildings at Fort Belvoir. AtmosAir is also installed in Guantanamo Bay, Redstone Arsenal, Fort Drum, Quantico, Hickam Naval Base, Fort Benning, Fort Lee, Camp Keyes, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Eglin Air Force Base, and Walter Reed Medical Center among others.
National Resource Defense Council - Beijing
The National Resources Defense Council (NRDC) demanded pristine indoor air quality for its employees in Beijing, China, due to the city’s poor reputation for toxic air quality, pollution, sandstorms and high levels of particulate. AtmosAir designed and installed 7 Atmos Air systems through NRDC’s facility in Beijing, designed specifically to reduce VOCs and PM2.5.

The National Resources Defense Council (NRDC) demanded pristine indoor air quality for its employees in Beijing, China, due to the city’s poor reputation for toxic air quality, pollution, sandstorms and high levels of particulate.
AtmosAir designed and installed 7 AtmosAir systems through NRDC’s facility in Beijing, designed specifically to reduce VOCs and PM2.5. VOC exposure is thought to be one of the leading causes of cancer, and PM2.5 particles get lodged in the lungs and cause respiratory issues.
NRDC wanted to verify the effectiveness of the system by installing real time monitors that would measure indoor air quality throughout the day.

TESTING
Hourly outdoor PM2.5 readings taken from the U.S. Embassy’s PM2.5 monitor, and were plotted against the sampled indoor data to determine the differences between indoor and outdoor levels.
RESULTS
The AtmosAir bi-polar ionization systems made a large difference to overall indoor air quality. All of the air quality measurements at the facility are within NRDC and government standards.
• Daily PM2.5 Reduction: 81.3%
• Daily PM2.5 outdoor average: 134μg m3
• Daily PM2.5 indoor average: 25 μg/m3
• VOC sampling average: <.12 μg/m3

Gensler Jewel Box
In 2016, Gensler generated over $1.18 billion in revenue, the most of any architecture firm based in the United States for the fifth year in a row. As of 2015, it operated offices in 46 cities in 16 countries worldwide. Gensler is constantly researching Indoor Air Quality and workplace wellness initiatives.
ACTION PLAN
AtmosAir was installed throughout Gensler’s LA offices, “The Gensler Jewel Box.”
RESULTS
The AtmosAir bi-polar ionization systems made a large difference in overall indoor air quality.
The reduction of particulate matter and TVOC was substantial. PM 10 particles are small enough to breathed in and enter into the throat. PM 2.5 particles are small enough to be breathed in and enter the lungs. TVOC are gaseous elements that can cause odors and irritations.
• VOC Reduction: 40%
• PM10 Reduction: 34%
• PM2.5 Reduction: 30%
AtmosAir is currently installed in multiple Gensler office facilities and projects around the world. Gensler is the world’s largest architecture firm.

WeWork
WeWork provides shared workspaces for technology startup communities, as well as services for entrepreneurs, freelancers, small businesses, and large enterprises. Founded in 2010, WeWork began as the brand “Green Desk.” The design is geared towards environmentally conscious people.
WeWork has many tenants, meaning many sources for potential odors.
ACTION PLAN
WeWork installed AtmosAir throughout their New York City headquarters.
RESULTS
AtmosAir successfully reduced particulate and VOCs, and helped WeWork conserve energy.
AtmosAir was subsequently installed in multiple WeWork locations including spaces in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Shanghai, Beijing, and more.

Deloitte
AtmosAir was installed to provide healthier air in specific areas of Deloitte University in Texas.
Odors and a general stale work environment were present.
ACTION PLAN
AtmosAir was installed at Deloitte University and Deloitte offices around the country.
RESULTS
Air testing showed VOCs reduced by 73%. Although PM2.5 levels were already low, PM10 size particles were reduced by 22%.

We have utilized AtmosAir in our offices. We were an early adopter. We have rolled AtmosAir out throughout a number of buildings including Empire State Building and it is a part of our Indoor Air Quality specifications.”
